ment in tho hop market, with reports
of prices as high as 50 cent a pound,
these top figures will not be enjoyed
by very many growers in this part oil
the valley. It is pretty well understood
that fully 90 r cent of the hops have
already been contracted for and that
the average price is from 25 to 30
cents. The contracts that have been fil
ed at the county recorder's office show
prices around 25 cents a pound.
