At meet ing the other night there was a strong feeling that Salem should have the 1920 state convention and that there should be sent to Klamath Palls a live delegation to press the claims of Sa lem. The first state convention of Elks was held in 191 in Portland and the second will be held in August of this year at Klamath Falls. It is un derstood that Pendleton and Marsh fjeld may j.ut in claims for the con vention n5 that if Salem wants it for 1920, a strong delegation should be sent to Klamath Falls when the place of the 1920 convention will be select ed.
