It will be full of road news and other information of intorest to motorists. 12 WAR TANKS TO ADVERTISE VICTORY LOAN Etch Pacific Coast State to Get at Least One Tank to . Aid Fifth Drive Twelve tanks which have been an signed to the Twelfth Federal Kunerve District fur use, during the Victory Liberty Loan drive opcuing April 21 have been assigned to the seven states In the district bo thut euch ntulo In the district will get al leant ono of the tanks to display during llio campaign Too tanks have been ussnud as fol lows: Two to Washington, one to Oregon, one to Idaho, ono lo Utah, one to Nevadu, two to Northern Call fornla and two to Southern California and Arizona. The remaining two tanks re to be carried or special trophy trains which will tour tho district. Tanks in Sham Battle Veterans of the American Expedi tionary Forces who havo soon actuul service In Franco will bo the drivers of tho tanks during tbo campaign. De fore being distributed throughout tho district for the opening of tho cam paign the tanks will parade in San Francisco and give a Bhnin battlo. All of the tanks are being shipped from the East direct to San Francisco. They are due to arrive there about April 6 when they will be taken to four acre tract near tho Southern Pa cific freight yards and assembled by the men who are to drive them. Each of the tanks will be armed with a Martin machine gun or 37 M.M. sraoko bombs with special pistols and lights. Display of War Relics In addition to tho tanks the special trophy trains will carry a complete display of relics which have been gathered on the battlefields of France and which have boen - hipped back to this country since the signing of the armistice. Accompanying each of the trains will be an American war hero who will speak for the Victory Iian. One of the trains will tour the North west and tho other will travel through California and tho Southwest. REOPEN PRIVILEGE FOR CONVERSION OF UBERTY BONDS Indefinite Extension of Time Granted by Secretary Glass on Earlier Loans. The privilege of converting Liberty Loan bonds of the Hint and second Issue Into bonds of the later Issues bearing a higher rate of Interest which expired November 9, 131S. ha been reopened by the secretary of the treas ury for an Indefinite period, which may be ended at such dato as may be fixed by the secretary on six months' public notice. This conversion privilege applies to 4 per cent bonds of the drat and second Issues Into 4'i per cent bonds. The conversion may bo mado by sur rendering the bonds now held to the Federal Reserve Tank at 8nn Fran cisco, accompanied by a "request for conversion." on nn application blank which will be mulled from the Federal Reserve lisnk.
