Word was received this morrjing of
the death of Corporal S. L. Thompson
at San Diego, Calif., Dec. 20. He is
survived by his mother, Mrs. L. M.
Thompson, and two sisters, Mrs. Grace
L. Sherman and Dorothy Thompson, aii
of Salem. The body will arrive in Sa
lem next Tuesday. Death was due to
pneumonia.
