It is probablo that what is now
known as company F of tho first bat
talion, Oregotyi militia, will be form
ally mustered in, although under a dif
ferent company letter. Three compan
ies of the Oregon militia have al
ready heea formed in Salem and the
prospects are good for another. It is
the intentiRpi to uso these coniipanics
only for local emergencies.
