Mr. Evans took the life of the rich young ruler as the subject of his discourse last night. It was a strong, stirring appeal to tne young people oi the churches to live whole hearted Chris tian lives. Nothing satisfies like the realization of a life well spent or work well done said Mr. Evans. Christ met a fig tree that bore no fruit. He cursed it and it withered and died. In the Bible men are not condemned so much for sinning as fee doing nothing. Enthusiasm in the tilings of the church will solve fifty percent of our difficulties in the esti mation of Bruce.
