Pro-German Agitator Is Sent to Prison Davenport, It., Oct. 11. Daniel H. Wallace, of Chicago, organizer of the League of Humanity, a pacifist organ ization, was sentenced to twenty years in renerai prison oy f ederal judge Mar tin Wade here today. Wallace immed iately gave notice of appeal to the cir cuit court. His bond was fixed at (25,-00. Wallace wai found guilty of viola- aitno or the espionage law by a jury here several days ago. He was arrested and indicted together with six prom inent Davenoorters, following a speech here in which he discouraged enlist ments in the army and urged evasion of the selective service law. L C Fisher Accidentally Killed la California L. C. Fisher, who was accidentally killed while hunting at Paeerville, Cal., was an uncle of Clare Y. Yibbert of, the Ladd ft Bush bank. The body will be brought to Kalem for burial and will arrive Saturday. Buriul will be in the Odd Fellows cinetery. Sir. Fisher for many years lived on the Fisher donation land claim in Kci zer Bottom and about one year ago went to Plaeerville, prospecting for min erals. He is survived by four sisters and one half-sister: Mrs. B. F. Ramp, of Brooks; Mrs. Sarah Irvine of Independence; Mrs. L. J. Vibbert of 8alem; Mrs. J. 8. Wyant of Ban Francisco, and Mrs. E. J. The steam schooner Quinalt went ashore at Point Gorda yesterday and will be a total loss, according to messages received here late this afternoon. The crew and passengers took to the life boats and landed safely at Shelter Orove. There were no casualties.
