Salem People May See How Motion Pictures Are Made The average person is desirous of seeing themselves as others see them and the Oregon theatre has completed arrangements fot the staging of a mov ing, picture. Directed by that llamous director Arthur Sydney, formerly di rector for Francis X. Bushman and other noted stars. Six local people will be used in the picture, three ladies and three gentle men. A contest will be held commenc ing Dee. 11 and any resident of Salem will be eligible for nomination, during which time Director Sydney and his staff will be at the Oregon theatre. A strip of film will be made of each con testant and will be rim at the Oregon theatre five days ffeginning the, 17th during which time each admission tick et entitles you to vote for one lady and one gentleman. Those holding the highest number of votes will be first, the second highest the second position, etc. It is doubtless to say that all Salem will be interested in seeing how a real moving picture is made and the Oregon' is to be eongia tulated on securing such a man as Director Sydney.
