Your Children's Eyes Parents should give, enrly attention to their children's eyes, fho sign of defects of vision in children aro not perhaps very pronounced, but they are readily recognizable; and in the inter ests of the little ones' future, they should receive, immediate attention. A child does not kjow what its vis ion should be, and cannot be expected to realize that it eyes aro defected. It becomes then the moral duty of those who have the care of children to ascertain whether their sight is as it should be. Backwardness in study especially should be taken as hints of possible eye trouble, while even tlio clever scholar who frowns or suffers from frequent headaches, may be suffering from eyestrain. The only way to be absolutely sure of your children 's eyes Is a thorough ex amination by one who has made chil dren's eves a study, and one who has successfully treated defective eyesight in children. T have successfully treated and re lieved eyestrain for fhoussmls of chil dren and have made this a narticular study. T do not recommend the use of glasses where glasses are not needed. T use no drugs or drops in making ex aminations as they are dalieeious. My charges are very reasonable. DR. M. P. MENDELSOHN, 210-211 United States Natl : Bk. Bldg., Salem, Ore.
