The program of the movable school to be bold at the Saiem Indian Training school at Chcuiawa August I to 5, by the O. A. C. extension service, has been completed and shows some remarkably strong and attractive features. The unusual -degree of com pletness with which each important subject taken up is treated and the helpful character of the phases of each subject thut uns been selected are es pecially notable. These features are ex emplified in the list of subjects for poultry day, Tuesday, Angus. 1, as fol lows: Hatching and rearing chicks; poultry breeding and record keeping; Boys' and Girls' club work; types aim breeds of poultry, lecture and demonstration; opportunities for club work ill the In dian training school; housing ol poul try, lecture and demonstration; and feeding 'for eggs, lecture and demon stration. Robert Gill Has Surgical Operation While in Portlnnd attending the an nual session of the Kpiscopnl summer school, the Hev. Hubert S. (till, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church, became ill suddenly Saturday afternoon and was taken to the Good Sumurittiii hos pitnl for an operation. Although ho withstood the shock of the operation and is reported today to be slightly better, he will not be out of danger for several days and even then, he will be under the doctor's care at the hospital for several months. The immediate cause of his illness was intestinal trou- bios, resulting from an operation for appendicitis four years ago. -Mrs. Gill and Mrs. W. T. Sinter nre at his bedside. Mr. Slater, who returned from Portlund this morning, said that the condition of Mr. (Jill nus critical and that it would probably be three days before he would be out of dunger, all depending whether he had sufficient strength to recover, from the effects of the operation.
