I COURT HOUSE NEWS Judge Calloway today granted a di vorce to Km ma Klnor.i See from her husband, Charles Dell See, on the grounds of desertion after hearing the evidence in the case. The couple were married in Michigan in IsH". There were no children or property rigiits in volved in the controversy. The de fendant allowed the case to go by de fault. Attorney Carey F. Martin rep resented the plaintiff. The first June wedding of the year to be reported is that of Charles J. Ilenkers. a Woodburn teamster and Clara Kckhout, of Woodburn. The date of the marriage is given as June 1, on the license which was secured from the county clerk todiv. Charles- C. Smith, a logger, of Albany and Lola F. Foster, a Salem waitress, also se cured a matrimonial permit. John T. Weese and Meryl Hargraf fen, both of Quinaby, filed into Judge vr.illowny s court room, with their wit ness and immediate friends this morn ing while his Honor was hearing a di vorce case. The power company removed some wires by lowering thein until a house could be moved and Mr. Vander vort agreed to pay the bill. The bill, however, was too high according to his calculations and he tendered $10 which he considered sufficient to pay all costs hut tho company claimed some $27. Judge Webster heard the testimony iu his court March 23 and granted tho company a judgment against Vander vort in tiie sum of $27.58 with costs of $10.70 and Vandervort appealed. A decree of divorce wag granted by Judge Galloway today in the ense of Adelle B. Bcno agninst Victor E. Betio on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment.
