ANOTHER OLD COIN FOUND
Tuesday the Capital Journal had a
story about a Spanish coin dated 178i
'Wing plowed up on a farm near Pallas
by Paul Muno. Mr. Oliver .Tory rend
ing the story, yesterday added anoth
er 'chapter to it by bringing in a coin
which he dug up in his garden in South
811I0111 about a venr ago. marked .just as
the Dallas find was. One side bearing
tne inscription i aroius in. mspaii ci
Tnd. Hex 2 15. P. Ii. The reverse read
Carlos IU. Dei Gratia, but the date was
1781.
The old Spanish coins wore used by
the early French settlers, and by the
Hudson Bay company, so there is noth
ing strange in that fact, but it is re
markable that to such coins should be
dug up. for the amount lost iu those
days of 'sparse settlement could not
have been large.

WHAT DYSPEPTICS
SHOULD EAT
A PHYSICIAN'S ADVICE
" Jndiyestion and practically all
tonus of stomach trouble are, nine
times out of ten, due to acidity; there
fore stoinich sufferers should, when
ever possible, avoid eating food that is
acid iu its nature, or which bv chem
ical action iu the stomach develops
adeiity. I'nfortunatelv, such a rule
eliminates most foods which are pleas
ant to the taste as well is those which
are rich iu blood, flesh and nerve build
ins properties. This i9 the reason why
dyspeptics and stomach sufferers are
usually so thin, emaciated and lacking
in that vital energy which can only
come from x well fed body. For the
benefit of those sufferers who have
been obliRed to exclude from their
diet all starchy,' sweet or fatty food,
and are trying to keep up a miserable
existence on gluten products, 1 would
suggest that you should try a meal of
any food or foods which you may like,
in moderate amount, taking nnmedi
atelv ifterwards teaspoonful of bis
urated magnesia in a little hot or cold
water. This will neutralize any acid
which may be present, or which may be
tanned, and instead ot the usual feel
ing of uneasiness and fullness, you will
find that vour food Agrees with you
perfectly. Bisurated magnesia. is doubt
less the best food corrective and ant
acid known. It has uo direct action
on the stomach; but by neutralizing the
acnuty of the food contents, and thus
removing the source of the acid irrita
tion wliicli intlnmcs the delicate stoin
ich lining, it does more than could pos
sibly be done by any drug or medicine.
As a physician, I believe in the use of
medicine whenever necessary, but I
must admit that I cannot see the sense
of dosing an in flamed aad irritated
stomach with drugs instead of getting
r'nl of the acid the cause of all the
trouble. Get a little bisuritcd mag
nesia from your druggist, eat what you
want nt your next meal, take some of
the bisnrnted magnesia as directed
above, ami see if I'M not right."
