son giving the names of the "honor
students'". This, of course created a

students. The teachers stood back and
watched the students compare their
grades. Judging from the smiles on
their faces they must have enjoyed it
more than the students.
Mr. Stone was taken to the Dallas
liospital this week to be operated on
for appendicitis. It is reported that
the operation proved to be successful
and the patient is doing us well as
could be expected
