Life is not merely to live, but to
live well, eat well, digest well, work
well( sleep well, look well. What 1
glorious condition to attain, mid yet
how veery easy it is if one will only
adopt the morning inside bath.
Folks who are accustomed to feel
dull and heavy when they arise, split -ting
headache, stuffy from a cold, foul
tongue, nasty breath, icid stoinucli, can
instead, feel ns fresh hs a daisy by
opening the sluices of the system each
morning and flushing out the whole of
the internal poisonous stagnant mat
ter. . ,
Everyone, whether Riling, sick or
well, should, each morning, before
breakfast, drink a glass of real hot
water with n tcaspoonful of limestone
phosphate in it to wash from the
stomach, liver, kidneys and bowels the
previous day's indigestible waste, sour
bile iiud poisonous toxins; Hum cleans
ing, sweetening and purifying the en
tire alimentary canal before putting
more food into the stomach. The act
ion of hot water ami limestone phos
phate on an empty stomach is wonder
fully invigorating. It cleans out all
the sour fermentations, gases, waste
and acidity and gives one a splendid
appetite for breakfast. While you are
enjoying your breakfast the water ami
phosphate is quietly extracting a largo
volume of wutcr from the blood and
getting ready for a thorough flushing
of .ill the inside organs.
The millions of people who are
bothered with constipution, bilious
spells, stomach trouble, riieiiniutism;
others who have sallow skins, blood
disorders and sicmv complexions are
urged to get a quarter pound of lime
stone phosphate from the drug storo
which will cost very little, but is suf
ficient to make anyone n pronounced
crank on the subject of internal sanitation.
Tho . wheat market in Portland is

often speculative and often not the
prico at which wheat is really selling.
Tho-high price of poultry has re
duced the cor.sumptiou, resulting in the
market swinging back to the level of
several weeks ago.
A ear load of Hood River apples ar
rived today and arc quoted wholesale

Potatoes are higher, bringing $1.75
a hundred. Flour advanced five cents
