will receive sealed bids for furnishing
supplies to the various stnto institu
tions on December Kith, 1915, nt 2 p.

brooms, drugs, paints, oils, stationery,
crockery, plumbing, etc., for the semi
annual period ending June 30th, 1910.

Trade nud Commerce Bureau, Chamber
of Commerce, Portland. Oregon. Each
bid to be accompanied by a certified

adian wheat, the impression among
buyers in tho city is that it will have
no effect on the markot.
In the vego.tablo market, California
tomitoes are advanced 25 cents, nnd
tho onion market is stronger.
Answering an inquiry as to the dif
ference in price between turkeys live
and dressed, a prominent dealer today
stated that two cents a pound was
about the right difference, and that the
market as quoted is correct.
Eggs are firm, with a few houses
paying 40 cents. a dozen m trade.

Mr. Burkbead, for tho school, with the
1910 ponnaut. The next meeting of the
association will bo in four weeks when
a basket social will bo givon, the pro
ceeds to, go towards a piano for the
school.

had a meeting at tho closo of the Pa-
