Mr. Olds who made this statement was formerly an officer of the North Pacific fair association and is now ono of the leading spirits of the national apple show, to be held iu Wenatchee this fall .and he is here to get some pointers upon some innovations in the way of special exhibits and conces sions for their show. Mr. Olds said that he had never seen a larger and more representative agricultural, livestock und horticultural exhibit as that on display at the Ore gon fair and lie was also highly com plimentary of the exhibits in the dairy ! division and other classes of industry ! of the state, lie was captivated with ; the spirit of rivalry anil interest (lis , played ia the agricultural and industrial l competition lieween the counties of the state; the boys and ' gills industrial club exhibits und the fine appearance of the grounds, especially the landscape gardening inaugurated for the first time tiiis year by Superintendent A.
