pany's difficulties.
Pipes denied virtually every claim
advanced by United States Attorney
Heames in his lengthy statement yester
day. What he did not deny ho explain

Reams charged that the company doc
tored its assets nnd liabilities, issued
false statements of conditions; did not
own patents to machines claimed as
protected, and that the defendants in

cured thousands of dollars from the
investors through the salo of stock.
