walking between the main track and
the sidetrack When the train was
within 50 to 75 feet of her, the bell
ringing all of the time, Engineer
Dempsey said she stepped out upon the
main lino in front of the train and was
struck beforo ho had time to signal
further warning or stop tho train.

bound locnl at Brooks and does not
stop but Engineer Dempsey stated thnt
he signalled the train on the sidetrack
nnd also whistled for the crossing.
