out by Ittbor Commissioner Hoff in col
lecting data upon tho labor question for

of tho laboring men who answered the
circular letter sent out are murried mou
and 41) per cent single.
In touching upon (he sanitary condi
tions of laboring mou in camp life some
of the answers blamo tho employers for
not insisting upon the men adopting
niorc sanitary habits and taking bet
ter caro of their sleeping quartors while

fortublo living quarters it would have
a tendency to quiet the wandering and
dissatisfied spirit of tho working man.
