On that day the Into Col. L. X. Page, who was so well known in Salem and all pf Marion county for his progress ive spirit, held an auctiou of lots, at which time the purchasers and friends were royally entertained by Col. l'aga and Ins wife. Last Tuesday, May 13, 1914, on the same spot, Mrs. L. K. Paga gave tho school children a troat of randy and nuts as a birthday cele bration. She was ably assisted by Mrs. S. L.
