was killed and two others badly hurt in
an explosion in mine No. 14, of the Pa
cific Coal company, at Black Diamond,
near here, this morning, The dead
man is Jack Johnson. The two injured,
Amedia Rossi and Eugeno Tcllini, were
taken to a hospital, Tho condition of
both is reported serious.
