of y Delayed Shipments
of Christmas Furniture
A big carload of Christmas furniture which should have
reached us over a month ago has been so delayed in transit
that it is only just now reported in the yards.
There are only five days left in which to do Christmas
shopping, and it is entirely out of the question to move these
through the ordinary channels of trade.
We have wired the manufacturers that we cannot accept
this car at this late date, and they reply: "Take the car.
Advertise the goods to be sold for what they will bring. We
will stand the loss." '
So here they go. ,
This car contains the highest grade of new electric reading
lamps, combination bookcases, ladies' writing desks and piano
benches.
This entire lot of furniture must be cleaned up in the five
days that are left so if you want to enjoy something unusual
in the way of a Christmas present at an immense saving now
is your time.
