Alleging that by reason of being de
prived of a $2."0 piano that it has been

inenced suit attainst Sheriff Ksch to re

Chancellor of Exchequer and Solicitor
General Scored in Marconi
Shares Scandal.

London, June 13. The house of com
mons committee which has been inves
tigating the "Marconi shared scaudal"
today presented a report to parliament
absolutely exonerating Chancellor of
the Exchequer David Lloyd-George and
Solicitor-General Isaacs from any wrong
doing in connection with their purchase
of Marconi shares.
The committee found that both cab
inet officers acted in tho belief th:'.t
their transactions in American Marsoni
stock did not in any way conflict with
their official responsibilities. The com
mittee report said there was no evidence
of corruption.
In a minority report, which was head
ed by Lord Robert Cecil, the findings
of the majority of the committee were
disagreed with. In the minority report
both cabinet officers were censured and
it was declared they had been guilty of
grave improprieties.

was made here today by agents of the
intedstate commerce commission that
the investigation into the St. Louis- San
Francisco railroad receivership would

L. Suiting, a well known character in
police circles, was arrested for about
the ninth time today when he was
found sitting directly behind the heels
of a not too friendly looking horse
hitched to a rig on Court street. When
Day Officer found Suiting, that person
age was lying in the grass near the
Wilson garage and was entertaining
passersby with a mouth, organ from
which he was discoursing what was sup
posed to music. To make Suiling's po
sition all the more perilous, his head
was within a foot of the heels of a
horse which was hitched along the curb.
