Now is the Time to Cleanse Your Blood Of those impure, poisonous, effete matters th'a have accumulated in it during the -winter and aro known as Blood Humors. The unequaled and really wonderful success of Hood's Sarsaparilla in cleansing the blood makes it the medicine you should take. The secret of its success is the fact that it is the host possible combination of the host known agents, roots, harks and herbs for giving strength and tone to the bodily organs and functions. Today throughout this dear old re public of ours we commemorate the birthday of the man to whom more than any othor the existence of the republic of the United Slates Is due George Washington. Being thus engagedunmindful, perhaps forgetful let us all today go back to the old Bchool books; let lis revlow tho pages of those school day histories which have long since grown old, musty, or have perhaps been cast aside. Let us study and reflect upon the character, tho manhood, tho qualities of the man to whom wo are Indebted for our American liberties the man whose momory wo today honor. And as we study and reflect, let gratltudo ba uppermost In our hearts let that gratitude be nurtured as the years go by, as the future comes down to moot us and let us. Implant In the hearts of our children and our children's chlldron the seed of the fullest measure of gratltudo towards the great American patriot who far lis overcame tho greatest of obstacles. If Washington had made no other sacrifice for hU country, that winter at Valley Forge, with his poorly clnd, naif-frozen, half-starved, but patrlotlo troops would have been suf ficient to perpetuate his memory. But Washington not only suffered. Ho planned, ho fought and ho won. Lone live the memory of George Washington! This plan to award Bchool credit for certain home work Is not ouly original but It has been commended by emi nent scientific writers. My mother got nie some Hood's Sarsaparilla and I began taking It. We soon noticed a change for the better. I kept on taking the medicine until I was perfectly well and could run and play ns hard as nny of the girls. Since then tho spring never comes without my taking Hood's Sarsaparilla, and I never feel at all bad In spring. We lake Hood's Tills for every little ailment, and these two medicines keep us well." Mrs. A. Hopkins, B26 K, Ragle St., E. Boston, Mass. Hood's Sarsaparilla Is one of those proprietary medicines that are Indispensable to thousands of families the millions of In telligent, prudent nnd economical men and women who are really tho bone nnd sinew of the coun try, but who have so little to go and come on that professional services, in case cf sickness, are out of the question except when absolutely necessary, There Is no" substitute for Hood's Sarsaparilla. "As state superintendent of public Instruction Mr. Alderman's services have been so meritorious that he lias won national recognition. In the field of vocational education he Is quoted as an authority by leading students. No state has made as rapid progress ns Oregon In agricultural teaching, nnd this very desirable result must be credited very largely to Mr. Aldermnn, whose efforts have been untiring mid Ms success remarkable.
