Many of those present' had visited the home at some time, and when the picture of the entrance was thrown on the screen, depicting the archway, with its Inscription: "Its bounty unpurchasable; Its char ity without price," tho comments of the printer boys were of a nature to have been gratifying to tho manage ment, could they have heard them. His Death Saved Him. New Westminster, B. C, Oct 30. Death come between Convict Herman Wilson and the gallows last night, when Wilson, who, together with an other convict named Smith, on Octob- r 6, last, killed a guard In the Domin ion penitentiary here. Wllsan and Smith were only yesterday Indicted for trial by the grand Jury, and their trlalwould probably have begun with in a week, Wilson was Bhot in the neck during the attempted escape and blood poi soning developed..
