We have purchased the Salem city railway lines and assumed
active control of the same.
In thus entering into the business and public activity of Salem, we desire to announce
our policy and to invite the co-operation of not only the city government, but also of the
people of Salem.
As a Pmblic Service Corporation
We will adopt a progressive policy from the start that will mean much to the develop
ment and growth of Salem.
We will at once link up our Center street line as part of the main system
