A FIFTEEN ROUND FIGHT 111 OFFICE BECAUSE REAL ESTATE DEALER TOLD LADY RIVAL TO "GO HOME AND PUT ON 'PANTS," HUSBAND JUMPED HIM, ND DESPERATE BATTLE ENDED IN A DRAW. UN1T8D FBISN UABBD WtBI. Portland, Ore., April 4. Through 15 gore-streaked rounds with a ref eree to call time, and break them In the clinches, Thomas B. Neuhausen, ex-United States secret service agent and timber dealer, who assisted Fran cis J. Heney In his Oregon land fraud prosecutions several years ago, and J. H. Beckley, a prominent real estate man,, fought with their fists over nn alleged Insult to Mrs. Neuhausen, In Berkley's office, In lrvington, at East Fifteenth street and Broadway, this morning. While the combatants, hotly pum mellng each other, surged back and forth across the "ring," Mrs. Neu hausen sat calmly In an arm chair In her husband's corner," and urged him on. When a bystander, one of the large audience, sought to Interfere, she bad him desist, and let them fight it out. Fought Forty-Five Minutes. When both men were so exhausted that their blows lacked steam, and they could hardly stand, after nearly three-quarters of an hour of savage milling, the referee called the fight. It was mutually decided to call It a draw, but before they parted words were Bpoken of '"another meeting"' soon to settle their differences for good and all. Straight Marquis of Queensbury rules, with free hitting In the break away, prevailed throughout the fignt. The only variation occurred In a clinch in the third round, when Neu hausen and Beckley grappling wildly, lurched headfirst Against the plate glass window In the front of the of fice. It broke with a crash, and they fell half way through It before they could regain their balance. But even this did not stop them, and they went at each other harder than before. How the Row, Started. This is how It all came about. Mrs. Neuhausen, who lives with her husband at 400 East Ninth street, sells lrvington real estate, while her spouse deals in timber lands. The trouble began when Mrs. Neu hausen and Beckley both listed the same houso for Bale. Mrs. Neuhausen, going to put up her own sign on It, so It Is said, tore down that of Beck ley. They met Bhortly after and Beck ley chlded her about It Thereupon Mrs. Neuhausen Is de clared to have asserted that she would "lick" Beckley, or words to that ef fect. "Oh, go home and put on pants," was Beckley's soft answer to this mild sally, It is asserted. But Mrs. Neuhausen refused to see a humorous Bide to the remark, and declared that she would bring her husband to settle with Beckley. Neuhausen and his wife walked Into Beckley's office today, and the fight followed. -o So Tired of Tired Feet! UseTIZ Gets tho "Tired" Ont In a Few Mln. utes Makes lour Feet Sore proof. "O fudee!
