The Capital Journal's subscription list has been growing so rapidly that it has been practically
forced to make this change owing to the immense amount of bookkeeping required to keep an
open account for as small a sum as a newspaper subscription. Hereafter about two weeks
before a subscription expires the subscriber will be notified by postal of the fact, and on the
date the time is up the paper will be stopped. We trust our subscribers will take this notice in
the spirit m which it is meant (merely a change in our business system) not a personal matter
