"The Most Up-to-Datc Suits on the Coast" This is one of the many compliments it has been our pleasure to receive on our magnificent showing of Ladies Suits. Recently a party of people who are touring the coast and who hare made it a business to visit the various stores, visited our Ladles Suit Department They were astonished at the many beau tiful styles we are showing. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of outfitting the ladies of this party with "the most up-to-date and nobby suits on the coast.' It Is indeed a pleasure to receive these many favorable comments, but we feel that we're entitled to them, for never before have we bee.i enabled to offer you such a large and varied assortment of New Fall Suits, Coats and Dresses. Our showing Includes the various styles suitable for all dress occasions as well as the more conservative and practical designs for everyday wear. Fa mous as Harvard observatory has been for its successful photographs of the new star, "Nova," as it is called by astronomers, there is spe cial significance attached here to the theory just enunciated by Professor Bickerton, of New Zealand, that.Ton trary to long-accepted ideas, these new stars are part of the manifesta tion of a collision between suns in which there is a third body formed by the tearing off and fusing together of parts of the suns. Regarding this, Professor Picker ing Bays. "Up to the present time It has been the generally accepted theory that the new star was the re sult of a collision of two suns, or came as the result of heat generated when a sun plunges into a stream of meteors. Speaking of the passing away into dust of these new stars, an interesting case was that of Nova Aurlgae, which appeared in 1901. "For three or four days after its appearance it was very brilliant, in fact as any star in the northern sky, Our regular prices imik like specials and a few weekg late!r pnotographs taken of it at the Yerkes observatory show a nebulous ring about it that seemed to be moving away rapidly "It was receding at the velocity of light, or at the rate of 185,000 miles a second, and it was thought that this formed after the collision of the two suns, which are so close together that they are seen as one.' - o 10c per quart; ..35c per gallon LIpton's Tea, regular 75c; our price 70c per lb. Not one woman in a nun dred is prepared or understands how to iproperly care for her self. Of course near ly every woman now adays has medical treatment at tha time of child-birth, but many approach the experience with an organism unfitted for the trial of strength, and when the strain is over her system has received a shock from which it is hard to recover. Follow ing richt upon this conies the nervous strain of caring for the child, and a distinct change in tho mother results. There is nothing more elinrmingtlinn a happy and healthy mother of chil dren, and indeed child-birth under right , conditions need be no hazard to health, or beauty. The unexplainablo thing is that, with all the evidence of shattered nerves and broken health resulting f r'Mn nij unprepared condition, women will persist in going blindly to the trial. It isn't as though the experience came upon them unawares. They have ample time in which to prepare, but they, for the moRt part, trust to chance and pay the penalty. I have As there is often some one In your family who suffers an attack of In digestion or some form of Stomach trouble, why don't you keep some Diapepsin in the house handy? This harmless blessing will digest anything you can eat without the slightest discomfort and overcome a sour, gassy stomach five minutes after. Tell your pharmacist to let you read the formula, plainly printed on these 50-cent cases of Pape's Diapep sin, then you will readily see why It makes indigestion, sour stomach, heartburn and other distress go In five minutes, and relieves at once such miseries as Belching of Gas, Eructations of sour, undigested food, Nausea, Headaches,; Dizziness, Con stipation and other , stomach disor ders. Some folks have tried so long to find relief from Indigestion and Dys pepsia or an out-of-order stomach with the common, every-day cures advertised that they have about made up their minds that they have some thing else wrong, or believe theirs is a case of Nervousness, Gastritis, Ca tarrh of the Stomach or Cancer. This, no doubt, Is a serious mis take. Your real trouble Is, what you eat does not digest; instead, it fer ments and sours, turns to acid, Gas and Stomach poison, which putrefy in the digestive tract and Intestines, and besides, poison the breath with nauseous odors. After beating Johnson nearly to death with n blackjack, Webb stuffed the body, still alive, in a trunk, which had previously been purchased for the purposo, and sent it tb the union depot in an express wagon. There he checked the trunk to South Puyallup, Wafl.h. Before the trunk was forwarded, bloodstains led to the discovery of Its contents, and two days later Mrs. Carrie Kersh, who had accompanied Johnson from Spokane, and Webb were arrested together. Mrs. Kersh had $1900, which Johnson had given her for safe keeping. The money furnished a motive for the crime.
