Bush (Ires are raging to the north of here and settlers fear a repetition of the disastrous conflagration of last Fall. The bush was never so dry as it is at the present time for no rain 'has fallen this year. The Rainy river Is iDwer now than it was when the snow fell and conditions generally are ideal for the biggest fire in the history of New Ontario and Northern Minnesota. This morning fires are within five miles of this town and coming this way. They are raging between here and Beaudette and also between here and Warroad.
