guests at their places is the object of
an ordinance which will be Intro
duced In the council at Its next
meeting upon request of Chief of Po
lice Hamilton and should it pass that
body, It will be necessary for such
owners to comply with Its provisions
or pay a fine of not more than $50
and not less than $5 for Its vlolatibn.
Most of the hotels, but few of the
rooming houses now keep a register.
