The state has brought action against the C. & E. Company to penalize them for falling to comply with an order of the commission to erect a depot at Lyons, Oregon. The railroad commission, issued an order several months ago on tho Corvallis & East ern railroad company but the order hsis been ignored, thus subjecting the company to a penalty of from $500 to $10,000.
