If a district's share of this sum does no't amount to $300 (six months ut GO per mouth J, then tho county court must levy upon tho property of such district u special tax largo onough to produce tht- dlfferonco botwecn such district apportionment of tho county fund and 300; provided that such special lory ctoos tiot exceed n fivo mill tux. If the district's share of tho county scaool fund and tho amount raised by a flvo-mlll tax Hpeclnl school tax) docs not amount to 300, then tho county court must transfer from tho kuiiojuI county fund to tho Hpuclul fdnd of such district nn uinount that will equal tho dlfferonco. As tho law now is tho county superlnteudont apportions tho money by first Hiving to each district $50 and then distributing the balance lu'cardlng to tin number of pupils In ouch district. This bill provides that the county superintendent shall first ;lo to each district (100 and then distribute tho bnlifnco according to tho number of children In each dis trict. Third, tho hill Introduced by La no roiinty delegatien: TIiIh bill provides for u county hlnh school fund. It provided that u county at any general election limy voto upon the question of creating a county high school fund. Fifth, tho Cole bill: This bill de rlaros unlawful any secret socletlits, Including fratcrultUte mid sororities which may now and htmmttur exist In any of tho public sahools of this state. ' Including hlxh achools. It makes It the duty of each school board In the state to examine Into the ooHdlttuns of all schools under Its charge uud to suppress all sweret so cieties therein. The secretary of the board ahull keep a record of such determination and shall notlt ythe governor and tho sec retaries of the several boards of the hUher educational lubtltutloua of suoh determination. It shall be the. duty of each Institution to conform thereto. Any ehauKca that are. made shall become effective at the begin ning of the school year following such determination.
