heard all tho testimony, Mrs. Rice
repeated the main details ot her
story exactly as she related it .on tho

Davis failed to shake her testimony
on any Important feature.
Fred Latham and Thomas Latham,
nephews of Charles E. Davis, were
present today.
The Rev A. D. Redd, of Council
Bluffs, today offered to pay the tui
tion for Mr. Rice for a torm In busi
ness college and to provide a home
tor her while she Is attend'ng the
college. She said that she had prac
tically decided to go to her father'
home In Des Moines and that she has
net given up the plan of becoming a
nurse."
