down a decision that there Is no
limit to the sizo of a city provided
that the people In tho territory nf
fee ted vote for annexation.

yesterday in a test case brought by
Oeorge H. Peck. Los Angeles voted
to annex a strip of territory 16 nillo
long and a mllo and a hulf broad
and anothor strip of territory south
of the city.
Peck contended that the annexa
