tified Chief Gibson, who began nn
Investigation Ho found 75 of the
c6mpany's sacks In tho various feed
stores and Junk shops of the city,
and was told that they had been Bold
by some boys.
About dark Inst night Dabcock
went 'down to tho warehouse, nnd
discovered two boys in tho cnat of
appropriating grain sacks. One of
the boys escaped, but the other wus
caught and turned over lo the police.
This youngster gave the nnmes of
four of his companions who had been
helping him lift tho sacks, and when
tho five appeared In court this morn
ing they confessed to hnvlng taken
100 sacks. As 100 more nro njls'ing
tho police bellevo thnt other mis-!
cernuts are also Implicated. The,
boys will be held In nbeyance for a
week, pending further developments.
