in Juno, together with the argu

The state printer has prepared
100,000 of th-se pamphlets In nil nt
a cos', of $0,373.75. Of this 'amount
the persons submitting tho measures
and arguments will have to pay $2,
797.34 no their proportion, as fixed
by law. Tho total amount collected
by tin secretary of state from tho
fliers of the arguments Is $2,000.
An adjustment will be mndo on a
per paid basis, and those who have
paid more than their shnro will re
ceive a refund, while tho others who
havo not paid their fiull percentage
will have to remit the dlflerence.
Tho postage for tho sending out
of these arguments will cost nbout
$3,000, and the cost of $6,373.75
will have to bo added to It beforo
the actual expense of getting out tho
measures can bo ascertained, the
Lnmouut of poBtage, tho cost for
clerks engaged In mailing, about
$250, nnd the cost of securing the
namos of voters.
Secretary of State Benson, It Is
estimated, has saved about $3,000
in getting up of the pamphlet by his
arrangement of the monsures.
