Bushey was called in and his work
was acceptable to both sides and was
nover questioned. The city council
voluntarily tendered him the posi
tion of city engineer.

shows that 1C7 bodies were fonnd.
22 bodies still await Identification.
No trace of the remains of flvo pu
pils can be found. Their bodies were
entirely consumed by the fire.
The body identified as that of
Katherino Weiler. a teacher, whose
home was In Pittsburg, has been dis
covered to be that of a roan, pre
sumably John Krajnyak, who dis
appeared at' the time of the fire. It
la thought he lost hla life In trying
to reicue gome of the children. Miss
Weiler has not beon found, however,
and it is believed .that she perished
also.
