last, on the chargo of homo stonlhig
prcferrod against him by C. W. Clng
gott of this olty, was brought back
here by Shorlff Win. J. Culver Satur
day evening.
Hanson longed a farm north of Sa
lem from Clnggott about a yoar ago.
In Juno Inst he disappeared and It
was dlacovorod by Claggott that two
horsw and a wagon woro gono. Tho
matter was roportad to Shorlff Cul
vor, who bogan a soaroh for tho miss
ing tenm. Ho soon found tho stolon
horse in tho possesion of a fnrmor
In Yamhill county, who had bought
them for $300 and from whoso de
scription of tlv man who sold him
tho team It was deduced that Hansen
was the thief. Subsequently Culver
