pointed on Mr. Honey's recomraondatlon will bo asked to preside.
Thus Is the wonderful Heney method of administering justice being
unfolded to tho gazo of tho astonished multitudes.
Balcm citizens whoso filings on public landn In tho Sllctz country
woro hold up for years ARE GIVING UP GETTING LANDS OR JUSTICE-.
As fast as they were frozen out their lands were contested and taken
ond titles wero given them to turn over to a big Washington land
syndicate
Tho wonderful Heney methods of purging Oregon of land frauds
have brought about NO PERCEPTIBLE REFORMS IN THE DISPOSI
TION OF LANDS.
Abovo alt, tho big corporations that grab lands by the township have
novor been Intereforod with.
Bo tho battto for Justice goes gaily on. "
Tho pooplo fcol grateful to Mr. Honey for conviction of ANY GRAFT
ERS OR CORRUPT POLITICIANS HIGH OR LOW.
Ho Is a man of great ability as a public prosecutor when ho has all tho
-, machinery of tho government to back him.
RUT IS THAT THE BRAND OF JUSTICE THAT THE TWENTIETH
CENTURY HAS PRODUCED?
Is It tho best article that our country is capablo of producing? .
It scorns to us that If ten law breakers havo to bo turned loose
and whlto-woshod tn order to convict ono, it comes pretty high.
WHY NOT ENFORCE THE LAWS AGAINST THEM ALL, AND IN
CLUDE THE NORTHERN PACIFIC AND OTHER LAND-GRABDING
'CORPORATIONS?
Tho manifestation of twentieth Century Justice is not satisfactory from
any point of view.
