of Gcorgo Huron, who Is wanted in
Grants Pass to answer to a charge
of larcony, Constable Jas Holmnn,
of Grants Pass, arrlvod last even
ing and returned today with young
Huron. Tho young man, who Is but
19 years of age, and Is charged with
tho larceny of a gun, claims that
tho weapon belongs to his father,
who resides in this city, nnd that ho,
at the request of his fathor, brought

had been boarding in Grants Pass,
and was not nwnro that tho parties
who had him .arrested ovon claimed

In this case Mr. Casto was given
charge of "Diablo," a horso valued
at 5000. In sottllng tho estate hla
claim was allowed by tho adminis
trator, but was rejected In probate,
and tho decision of Judgo Galloway
on tho appeal reversed the Judg
ment of tho lower court.
Tho defendants, through their le
gal representative, Attorney Bayno,
have given notlco of appeal.
