At noon ho took a new box of stump powder into tho houso and placed 20 pounds of tho same In the oven to thaw, uo that ho might use It In the aftornoon, leaving tho remainder beside the stovo. While, eating dinner tho powder In tho oven caused tho formation oi Kas. which exploded, and this dis charged tho dynamite, Instantly kill ing Mr. Hanson and inflicting sovero wounds on Mrs. Hanson. Tho house was torn Into kindling wood and scattered over about two acres of ground, not Jeavlns ft largo euough piece to be called a board. Tho nearby buildings wero also wrecks, and Mr. Hanson's body was found In the woodshel, buried be neath the debris.
