Tho crowning featuro of tho after
noon, and the ono most enjoyed by tho
littlo folks was tho big pie. Tho chil
dren rocltod "Sing n song of slxponco,
pocket full of ryo, four nnd twenty
blackbirds baked in a pio, etc." Tho
four nnd twenty blackbirds protruded
from tho pie, and at tho end of each
rhymo each child pulled a string, to
which a little souvenir was attached.
It was a delightful party, everything
boing arranged for tho ploasuro of the
guests. Ono litlo tot, tho smallest
among thorn, said as she left "I'vo bad
a high tlmo," which voiced tho
thoughts of all.
