WHO CANNOT BE CURED.
So uniformly successful has Dr. Pierce's
Favorite Prescription proven in all forms
of Female Weakness, Prolapsus, or 1'alUnp
of Womb, and Leucorthea, that, after over
a third of a century's experience in curing
the worst cases of these distressing: and
debilitating: ailments. Dr. Pierce now feels
fully warranted In offering to pay $500 in
cash for any case of these diseases which
he cannot cure.
It Stwds Alone. The "Favorite Pre
scription" stands alone, as the one and
only remedy for these distressingly com
mon forms of weakness, possessed of such
positively specific curative properties as to
warrant Its makers in proposing:, and
binding; themselves to forfeit, as we, the
undersigned proprietors of that wonderful
remedy hereby do, to pay the sum of $500
in legal money of the United States, in any
case of the above diseases in which after a
fair and reasonable trial of our treatment,
wr fail to cure. No other medicine for
the cure of woman's peculiar ailments is
backed by such a remarkable guarantee ;
no other medicine for woman's Tils is pos
sessed of the unparalleled curative prop
erties that would warrant its manufacturers
in making such an offer; no other remedy
ha such a record of cures on which to base
such a remarkable offer
Therefore, insist on having: Dr. Pierce's
Favorite Prescription and turn your back
on any unscrupulous dealer who would
insult your intelligence by attempting to
fofot upon you some inferior substitute,
under the plea that "It is just as good.p
Insist on haing the article which has a
record of a third of a century of cures and
which is backed by those willing to forfeit
ya If they cannot cure you.
In cases attended by a lencorrheal drain
a solution of Dr. Pierce's Lotion Tablets
should be used conjointly with the use of
the "Favorite Prescription." They are sold
by all druggists, or sent post-paid to any
address, on receipt of 25 cents in stamps.
Send 31 cents in stamps for Dr. Pierce's
Common Sense Medical Adviser. Address
World's Dispensary, Buffalo, N. Y.
Weak and sick women are invited to
consult Dr. Pierce, by letter, free. Ati
correspondence is held as strictly private.

QUAKER
NURSERY
STOCK
C. F. Lansing Holds a Full
Hand and a Leng: Suit of
Fine Trees
A reporter of Tho Journal enjoyed
a visit tho other day to tho Quaker
Nursery, hlch Is situated Just east,
of this city, a short dlstanco off tho
Garden Road. Tho proprietor, Mr. C.
F Lansing, has about 60 acres In
nursery stock, and with an exper
ience of about 15 years, ho can truth
fully say that he has never grown as
fine a quality of young trees as ho
has this year. Throughout tho long
dry season, ho kept his nursery un
der the highest cultivation nnd not
only got a fine growth of wood and
vine, but It Is all well matured and
ripened. Manj; of his year old treos
are as largo as ordinary two year
olds, Tho beauty nbout his nursory
stock from tho standpoint of tho re
tall trade Is, that buyers got ovory
order filled right fresh out of the
ground. Tho Quaker Nunierles in
clude almost every hardy and suc
cessful variety of fruit trees, nut
trees, evorgrocn trees, grapo vines,
roses and small fruits, togother with
ornamental and flowering shrubs and
climbers.
Thore Is nothing that any one Is
apt to want for decorating tho yard,
planting In tho orchard, or vinos and
plants for tho residence, or for a com
otery, that you can not get In tho
best condition at Mr. Lansing's nur
sory. Ho mnkoj a specialty of stand
ard variety of apples, pears and cher
ries, of which he claims to havo tho
best stock In the state especially
wlntor apples. Ills big lead Is long
keeping varlotles of winter apples.
He has made a study of this subject
and although ho Is considerable of a
Quaker, ho says they aro his long
suit. He holds a full hand of Jona
than, Roso Beauty, Hldo's King of
tho We3t, Oregon Rod Winter, Red
Winter Pearmaln, Wagner, and all
the standard varieties.
Iu peaie, he Is full-handed with
BartlotU, Fall Butter, Flomlau
Beauty, Clapp's Favorite, ami about
25 othor kinds. Lansing Is frank
enough to say that thoro nro only
abcut four or five good kinds of pears
Ho has a reputation for growing flno
cherry trees, but llk'o George Wash
ington, ho had to say ho was sold out
of somo of the leading vnrletlos, al
though he has finite a stock of good
kinds Ion.
Wo forgot to mention tho now Cam
Iso pear, which Is said for quality
and flavor to surpass anything over
produced In tho pear lino.
Mr. Lansing, of the Quaker Nurser
ies, Is widely known and has a repu
tation for generous treatment of his
trado. People who are nefvl f nur.
sory stock in largo or small quanti
ties, will do woll to bear him In mind
and glvo him a call. Nursory stock
Is ready for doll very all through tho
full, winter and spring months. In
buying of him, you havo tho advan
tage of going over tho ground and
picking out Just what jou want
which Is much more satisfactory
than giving a long dlstanco order to
some traveling tree peddlor.
