Sheriff Culver and Deputy Minto wero talking at the Stato stroot corner, and thoy came to tho relief of tho lono po liceman, who was wntching tho back door, and holding tho captive. The sheriff guarded tho front door, whllo the deputy wont to tho rear and broke through tho door. The interior wns very dark, but, armed with a small electric lantern, ho commenced a search for tho remaining burglar. Ho was joined by Ab.
