Walter Comber, Once a Resident of
Oregon, Is Wanted in England.
The Journal has been sent an ad
vertisement from tho Chancery Court
of England, relative to tht closing of
an estate. The notice Is virtually an
effort to locate the whereabouts (dead
or alive) of one Waltor Comber, and
states that he had onoe lived at Oak
land, Oregon. There Is evidently
something of an ostato awaiting this
gentleman or his hairs, coming from
the estate of William Comber, de
ceased (late of Plas Cottage, in the
Parish of Slanghain, SuseXf Beer,
house keeper and garUener.)
Walter Combor was last heard of
about September, 1882, and any Infor
mation pertaining to his whereabouts
would be gladly received, and should
be addressed to Field, Roseoe & Co,
36 Lincoln Inn Fields, London, Bn&
land, solicitors for the plaintiff.
