forces. A hundred Moros were killed

troop of tho 15th cavalry participated
In tho engagement, which was precipi
tated by tho Moros opposing Porlsh
lng's advance along tho west coast,
whero ho was surveying. The Moms
flrod without warning. Their strong
hold was surrounded, shelled and thou
rushed. Tho American charge was

The Moros. after a brave fight, fled,
and tho town ia completely occupied
by tho Americans.

making those visits since early last
December, and today was tho first se
