property of any company for taxation
by the board, nnd before the certifica
tion by the secretary of state of tho
apportioned valuation to the several
counties, as provided In section C, the
board may. on the application. of any
Interested company or porson, or on
iu own motion, correct the assess
ment or valuation of the property of
any company. In such manner as will,
in Its Judgment make the valuation
thoreof just nnd equal. The proceed
ings of said board of appraisers and
assessors shall lie subject to review
by the courts of the state far the cor
rection of errors op overvaluation In
tha assessment of proporfy for tax
ation by said stato hoard of appraisers
and assessors, and to the remission of
taxes and penalties Illegally assessed

Sec. I. In case any company re
quired to file a statement, under the
provisions of section 2. rnlls to make
