Major illnton, assisted by many of
the iMtstors of the churches, has been
conducting a series of evangelistio
meetings during the week. Two meet
ings have been held dally: one In the
Presbyterian church, which was an
exposition of some Hible topic, with
Mrlpttirel references, and the other a
sermon in the Baptist church. The
meeting have been largely atended
and much Interest manifested. Major
Hilton Is a One preacher, and his lllble
readings very Interesting and profit
able. Tomorrow, at S p. m in the Y.
M. C. A. Gymnasium, he will preach
to men. and in the evening he will
preach at the union service in the
Methodist church. The meetings will
continue through next week. The af
