Burial of the Late Samuel L.

Tho funoral of tlio lato Samuel L.

Tho services at tho houso woro con

hymn, tho mualc by Mezart:
I worship Thoo, awoot Will of God,
And all Thy ways adoro;
And overy day I llvo, I socm
To lovo Theo moro and more.
When obstacles and trials seem
Like prison walls to bo,
1 do tho littlo I can do,
And loavo tho rost to Thoo.
Ho always wins who sides with Cod,
io him no chanco is lost;
aoil's will Is sweetest to him whoa
It triumphs at his cost.
Then tho 91st Psalm was road In full,
which was followed by silent prayor,
closing with an audlblo repetition of
tho Lord's Prayor in concort. After
this tho following hymn, by Mrs, Mary
Dakor Kddy, was sung by tho cheir:
Shophcrd, Bhow mo how to go
O'or tho hlllsldo stoop,
How to gathor, how to sow,
How to feed Thy shoop;
I will llston for Thy voice,
Lest my footstops stray,
I will follow and rojolco
All tho rugged way.
Thou wilt bind tho stubborn will,
Wound tho callous breast,
Mako solf rlghtcouBnoiiH bo still,
Hrcuk oarth'B stupid rest;
Strangors on a barren shoro
Lnb'rlng long and lono
Wo would enter by tho door,
And Thou know'st Thlno own.
So whon day grows dark and cold,
Tear or triumph harms,
Load Thy lambkins to tho fold,
Tako them In Thlno arms;
Feed tho hungry, hoal tho heart,
Till tho mornlng'B beam;
Whlto as wool, oro they dopurt

Tho oorvlco was losod by a repeti
